Hi Rockets,

Last week we had a fantastic International Night and Book Fair Kick Off. I’d like to personally thank everyone who came out to learn more about other cultures and support our library!

International Night is one of my favorite nights, held during Inclusive Schools Week. It’s so important to give our children a more global understanding. Not only does it increase their awareness of the world around them, it will help them be successful in whatever careers they choose as adults. As your children grow, remember to read books to them about different people, countries, and cultures. It’s one of the easiest ways to teach them about the amazing people in our world!

If you’re looking for some excellent gifts for your children, remember the Book Fair runs until 11 am on December 14th. I love the idea of giving books to children—they’re fun and educational! Rockets read!

Have a great week! Go Rockets!
