Happy Friday! What a beautiful day it has turned out to be! I hope you get time outside to enjoy this beautiful weather with your family! I also want to take time to thank all of you for attending Family Science Night last night! It was so much fun to see all our rockets explore the world of science through zoom! Students made Balancing Robots and Catapults with the materials that all students were sent home with! I'm sure, those who made the catapult, enjoyed all the marshmallows flying all over the house but more importantly the joy our kids got from actually creating something out of the materials in their Science Bags. If you missed the event, it is not too late. Out Family Science Night can be accessed here! Thank you Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Tovar, and Mrs. Schram for organizing and awesome student experience event!

Lastly, I want to thank all of you for taking the time to submit your child's Frontline Daily Health Screener by 7:45 a.m. each day! We have made exceptional progress in getting all our new families registered and using our safety tool every single day! All of your support is beyond appreciated! Thank you for your partnership in keeping our campus safe every single day!

Always the best,

Amanda Reyes Lillard

We want to remind our families that if your child or someone in your household tests positive for COVID, please report it to Principal Lillard and Nurse Heidi. We have to follow quarantining procedures and guide you as to what that would be for your child, as it relates to school. Even during the holidays, we need to be able to figure out how it impacts the school. Contact tracing is the reason it can impact our school. You may think the holiday doesn't impact the school but depending on our conversation it very well could and we need to be able to intervene appropriately. Nurse Heidi and myself will be checking COVID related emails during holiday breaks to ensure we can take appropriate actions to keep our school operating as safe as possible.

Virtual Families: Please remember that there is a capacity limit of 5 people in our secure vestibule. When you see there are 5 people inside, please wait outside until someone has left. We appreciate our families working hard to pick up their child's materials, but we also want to make sure we are operating safely when we have to do pick up in a closed room setting. Thank you for understanding.
