will eat outside in the grassy areas.
There are several water stations, so students

2013/2014 Parent Input Form in English |
Student placement is a complex process that begins in the spring of the previous school year. Our goals in this process include classes that are heterogeneously grouped and to meet individual student needs. In the spring, administration meets with teachers in grade level teams to blend a broad body of data to create classes. During the summer, administration reviews the added data provided by this profile to finalize classes then assign teachers to these student groups. If you have information you would like to be considered as we build classes, please complete the following profile by Friday, May 31st. ***Due to the complexity of balancing student needs, specific teacher requests are discouraged and if shared, are not the priority for creating classes.***If you would like to discuss your child’s needs in more detail, please feel to contact our counselor or principal- 570-7000. |

Progress Reports and Report Cards Now Available in Electronic Format |
Parents of elementary students in third, fourth and fifth grades have the option to view and print their child(ren)’s interim progress reports and report cards by using txConnect, rather than receiving paper copies in their student’s Wednesday folder. To receive electronic grade reports, parents must follow two steps. First, parents will need to set up or login to their txConnect account, and second, register to receive these reports by following the instructions (also available at www.leanderisd.org and on your child’s campus website). If parents select this option, parents will be notified by email as soon as the interim progress reports and report cards are available in txConnect. These reports will be replaced every grading period when new reports are produced. The grade reports on txConnect will look identical to those that are sent home. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your campus registrar. |
